  • Yes, if you are looking to address a current physical injury that is inhibiting your movement or comfort levels during everyday activities and sports.

  • No referral is required to attend your Physiotherapy initial consultation or subsequent consultations.

  • 45 minutes or 60 minutes depending on the injury or condition.

  • How much does insurance cover?

    The exact rebatable amount depends on your level of cover. This can range from 30-100%.

    Insurance card and what if you forget it?

    Most Private Health funds have the apple wallet facility or we can email you a digital receipt directly to claim online.

  • This depends on your particular injury and level of severity.

    We can predict how long your recovery will take once we have assessed and diagnosed effectively at your Initial Physiotherapy appointment.

  • We will request feedback during your Physiotherapy treatment session and any active therapy will not exceed 6-7/10 as your perceived rate of exertion.

    With any manual therapy techniques (Including Remedial/Sports Massage) a maximum of 5-7/10 pain is considered acceptable.

    However, everyone has varied pain tolerances and we will certainly check your comfort levels frequently.

  • Home Exercise Program (HEP) is recommended which may involve a series of strength exercises, stretches or self-mobilisation techniques.

    All HEP’s are provided via Physiapp with instructional videos and details repetition/set ranges.

  • Yes! If you manage to obtain an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) from your GP, we will be able to heavily discount your Physiotherapy sessions up to five per year.

  • Yes, we specialise in these areas!

    We are a Registered NDIS Provider and have undergone all necessary audits and met criteria allowing for full NDIS registration for therapeutic supports.

    All of our Physiotherapists are work cover and CTP accredited, we will liaise with your treating Doctor and Insurance case managers to support your full recovery.

  • Wear comfortable attire for the passive treatment.

    Pack or wear a pair of shorts if you intend to assess and treat a leg injury or concern.

    Wear active wear or sports gear if you are doing an exercise class or more active Physiotherapy session.

  • Yes, any X-ray of the spine is free if referred by your Physiotherapist. Any other areas (Other than spine) are charged a Gap at your imaging clinic.

    We can also refer for Ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRI.

  • Yes, we offer home visits for those patients that are unable to leave their homes and live within a 10Km radius of Matraville and Marrickville clinics.

  • Yes, we offer Remedial Massage as a standalone service. This is different to any relaxation style of massage therapy.

    Remedial Massage targets certain problem areas within your musculoskeletal system.

    This can include but not limited to postural imbalances, recovery from intense exercise, peripheral nerve tension, joint stiffness secondary to tight muscle systems.
