Sports related injury
Injuries including Tennis, Golf, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, AFL, Cricket, Dancers, Mixed Martial Arts, Triathlons, Marathon Runners and Cross fit trainers.

Shoulder bursitis, shoulder impingement and rotator cuff tears. Often these types of shoulder injuries are secondary to an underlying cause related to poor biomechanics, weak rotator cuff muscles or shoulder joint lacking structural integrity.

There are two types of Frozen Shoulder known as Primary and Secondary. Also, three stages to a Frozen Shoulder Freezing, Frozen and Thawing.

Knee Injuries
Meniscus Injuries including knee bursitis, patella mal-tracking (runner’s knee), patella tendinitis/tendinopathy (jumper’s knee), ACL conservative management, ACL pre-hab and rehab, posterior cruciate ligament tear PCL and medial collateral ligament tear (MCL) injuries.
Ankle sprain
Ankle ligament tears, osteochondral defects and Syndesmosis injuries also known as high ankle sprains.
Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI)
FAI is also known as Hip Impingement can be debilitating and typically involves a CAM lesion or Pincer lesion. Both can be diagnosed and treated with Physiotherapy.
Young Athletic growing pains
such as Osgood Schlatter Syndrome, Severs disease, Apophysitis injuries to lower limbs such as hamstring and rectus femoris attachments.
Temperomandibular TMJ/TMD pain or dysfunction
TMJ and jaw related pain is often debilitating and may prevent proper chewing of food and even talking effectively in severe cases. We can assist by diagnosing the cause of your specific jaw (TMJ) pain and providing a self-management plan to restore jaw functionality. Manual Therapy and Jaw Exercise has shown to have better effect after 12 months than Botox injection alone for TMJ muscle related pain.
Migraines and Headaches can be associated with musculoskeletal origins and Physiotherapy manual therapy techniques, joint mobilisations and postural strengthening exercises could make the difference.
We can also prevent these types of headaches from recurring providing a process of elimination diet (rich in amines), hydration advice for your exact bodyweight and stress management strategies.
Neck pain and associated disorders
Cervical radiculopathy with pain or neurological symptoms referring beyond the shoulder, whiplash and cervical disorders, facet joint pain, wry neck, torticollis.
Lower back pain
Lower back injuries can originate from a bulging disc (herniated disc), sponylolysis, spondylolisthesis, pars defect or bone stress injury. It is important to ascertain a clear diagnosis and prognosis to clear pathway to your full recovery.
Sciatica
Broadly used term to describe pain or neurological symptoms travelling beyond the buttock fold in the thigh. Our aim is to determine the underlying cause of the sciatic pain.

Carpal Tunnel syndrome, DeQuervains Tenosynovitis, Skiier’s Thumb, triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC), ganglion cysts, wrist ligament sprain.
Postural Correction
Postural issues usually due to office work or being sedentary. Often present with rounded shoulders, Hyperkyphotic, forward head and neck posture. These postural dysfunctions can be addressed with manual therapy techniques, combination of basic strength program and ergonomic setup support.
Sports Taping
for areas including ankle, knee, wrists, hands and fingers, shoulders, elbows or ribcage.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is being utilised across almost all professional sports to promote recovery between events, reduce muscle tightness, manage neuropathic pain, increase blood flow for injuries such as haematoma (corks), muscle strains and tendinopathies.
Pilates and Core Strength
We utilise a reformer machine to facilitate core strength and another training approach named The Roman Method. This method utilises the reformer for rehabilitation of various injuries including ankle sprains, knee meniscus injuries, chronic lower back pain, shoulder stability and balance retraining.
